Any thoughts before I buy? His auto varies a lot during his life. This one is mid-80's. Thanks for input!

I purchased this one from a well-known dealer at a National many years ago. I always assumed it was good.

I don't like it. Billy's auto always seemed to have very non-distinct letters. This one looks too carefully written. I'm guessing secretarial.

Looking at exemplars I see exactly what you mean. This other PSA one is the closest I found with clear letters. I like the photo this one is on, but I better pass. Thanks much!

Still on my Billy Martin quest. How does this one look? The problem with this one is no seller feedback, and this is the sellers only item. They just joined ebay. Hey, but we all had to start sometime? Thanks!

Well, this didn't turn out so well. I won the signed article on ebay. Only bidder. Happy. But remember this was a new user with no feedback. I tried to pay but he had no PayPal account (how does ebay allow this?). So ebay locks up saying payment failed and contact seller. I called eBay and the dudes response was chickens--t. He couldn't do anything. I finally connect with seller. He's busy moving. As a newbie he is confused by ebay.

If a payment to seller fails (in this case he had no PayPal account), why does ebay shut the transaction down? Why won't they let me retry payment with a different method (card). Oh well, I am out no money, but frustrated...
