Default Autograph Card Prices

I can't believe the prices on some of these modern autographed cards ( 100k - 1million +). I can see the sign at the next card show( when there is one), autographs ( $ 500,000 each ) one per customer. And there would be people standing in line . And others can't buy food or pay rent. Wow !!!

There is so much "crazy" money flooding into the "hobby" right now it is mind boggling and sick. A fool and his money are soon parted as old PT used to say.
You just have to watch in amazement at what their money could really buy instead of total garbage!

To each his own.

Peace, Mike

On these kinds of autographs (and all autographs for that matter) it is all about provenance and how much of a leap of faith there is. At least if I collected them that is how I would feel.

Looks like a gift number grade for that Babe Ruth. Doesn't even have the full column width. I'd figure PSA has to have a minimum width for this issue.

The modern stuff is insane. Absolute produced scarcity with all these 1/1s and 1/25s and blah blah blah. I think it's kinda gross.

I have some Mookie Betts autos that I intended to keep, but these prices are ridiculous!

I was scanning this thread and I incorrectly read this post as "all autographs matter"...

I agree with that sentiment. They all matter to someone. But ones on RC's seem to matter more lately. Scarce 1 of X or 1 of XX ones are also going up and up.
