Default t206 Wagner (crazy idea)

Posted By: raymond g.

From the "crazy idea" post I decided to view the t206 Wagner. Can any one explain the wording in the description "THE MAGNIFICENT JUMBO EXAMPLE". Is there some meaning to this! Or is just part of the Mastro description? Thanks! As you can see I know very little about the card, way out of my league!

It has exceptionally large borders which is something most hobbyists really like to see in cards nowadays, myself included. Many of the high grade cards have tiny borders which means there is a good chance they might have been trimmed. Big (JUMBO) borders are almost always a good thing...and certainly a strong selling point. Hope this helps....

Raymond,

About 2-3 weeks ago there was a very comprehensive thread about this Wagner, and many others.

http://www.network54.com/Forum/153652/thread/1215573876/T206+Wagner

Jim B posted a picture of the Wagner coming up in the Mastro auction (7/8 at 12:16 PM).

Later on Jon Canfield posted (7/9 at 6:43 PM) a picture from Beckett's that is supposed to show 21 different Wagners. There was some discussion that several had been shown more than once. If you study the pictures carefully you can see exactly what Leon is talking about.
