Oversized SGC Slabs
Has anyone else noticed SGC’s new slabs for oversized cards (7 1/2” x 10 1/2”) can’t be stacked one on top of another without using rubber bands?
I asked SGC why the oversized slabs weren’t designed the same way as the standard slabs, and they said it seems the oversized slabs weren’t meant to be stacked. They also said they’ve had very few complaints about them and don’t plan to change them. I’m curious whether collectors of Turkey Reds, 1912 Silks, Kashin Premiums, 1936 R-312s and other oversized cards agree with SGC that this isn’t a problem? (Note: I’m using the term “problem” loosely). |
