When I drove across country with a buddy back in the mid-90's we happened to be driving through Iowa when we saw signs for Dyersville, Iowa where the movie "Field of Dreams" was shot. Turns out the land where the film was shot belonged to two different families, so they had competing gift shops maybe 10 yards from each other.

I ended up buying a coffee mug with a picture of a field of corn on it. But when you fill the mug with hot coffee, the temperature change causes Shoeless Joe et al to appear in the middle of the corn field. Very cool.
