Default A lil help please

I have a good friend who had received a pair of practice skates of Johnny Bucyk and they are autographed. I myself don't care about an authentication of a product especially if I saw him sign my product but this friend of mine wants them authenticated. So, my question is where can I have him send these skates to be authenticated and the autograph as well? Is it also possible to have them tell if they were his practice skates? Thanks for any help guys

Default skates

try contacting Bucyk through the Boston Bruins team or the Boston Bruins Alumni to try to email (or snail mail) some pics of the skates to him . I am sure he would be able to tell if those were his skates

I'm no expert on the subject, but perhaps MEARS could do it. Though I think game use and the autograph authentication are two different things,

Recommend you contact Barry Meisel at MeiGray, probably the best authenticators of game used/worn NHL items in the business.

Although it seems unlikely for most sports, I would agree with sending him some photos and a nice letter asking for more info. Hockey players are very approachable and most would be more than willing to answer such a question. Check sport collectors.net to see what his turn around time would be or send it via the Bruins.
