that is so sad. i can't help but feel sorry for the unfortunate purchaser. hopefully they just appreciate it and don't try to sell it.

eBay policies do not allow you list the bonus item in the auction aution title. It's a fun way to mess with these morons that insist on trying to sneak PSA, etc into their auction title.

I will bet that more than a few will agree with me when I say: So what the Hell is wrong with a Very Good Babe Ruth in the first place? Why are all these people attractacted to the word 'Mint' like bugs to a zapper?

It's straight enough, but the bottom border is almost non-existant, and there isn't near enough top border to make up for it (in other words, it looks TRIMMED!)

There was a T206 Cobb bat off a few weeks ago graded by PRO. Trimmed, too.

This post also shows two backs. Could this be the same guy? The cobb seller was syzy3.14, and used a different page maker - Andale - than the current auction.

Probably just coincidence. It would be interesting to see if either one ever bid on the other's stuff. But, both are private, so who knows.

Run.

The Cobb seller is Gerry XXXXX, the former partner of XXXXX, both known to be card doctors. Gerry wanted me to end a Mathewson PSA 6 auction early to sell to him -- like I want to see my beloved card end up in a PRO holder...
