I saw Johny Mellencamp at the MN state fair last night...he put on a really good show of most of his hits and a few golden oldies from Blues Legends. Rain on the scarecrow and pink houses were highlights for me!

I loved those guys, in the day. I've never seen them and whenever I get the chance it seems they are either a) playing in a terrible venue or b) the bill includes 3-4 s**t bands I have no desire to see or hear.

I can only repeat what has been said here before.
Saw Sir Paul McCartney last nite at Barclays Ctr in Brooklyn.
The man is amazing.
75 years old and sounds as good after three hours as the opening Hard Days Night number.
Fabulous show.

It's a shame JCM is on the state fair circuit. Dude had a 15 year run of BRILLANCE, starting with Scarecrow.
