"babe ruth autograph postcard... came from an attic collection i purchased many years ago. it was in a protective plastic sleeve inside "the babe ruth story" large paperback book (also in a protective sleeve) it is in mint condition still in the sleeve. i do not have the money to get it authenicated for my wife has lost her job and i have children in college, i have lookd at ruth autographs over the years and yhis may be real, i will start the bidding low in hopes that someone will get it authenicated. i have many autographs that i have collected over 25 years and may be parting with some. thanks for looking and happy bidding!!"

Who could argue with that?

I bet if I called him and got him to look in his attic again, he could find that rare Ruth signed Mets jersey

I saw one on a dinner program that looked like that. Maybe his wife? Regardless, definitely not the Babe.

How did that government postcard travel between Ruth and the collector if it was never postally used?
