Default W519 find, need help pricing

Posted By: DJ

Hello everyone. My name is Don Joss and I own DJ's Sportscards in the Seattle area, established 1988. I am new to this chat board, Richard Klein told me about it when I contacted him regarding a collection of W519 strip cards and other 1920's cards that I am in the process of purchasing. This collection contains a lot of W519 movie star cards that are not listed in the Beckett annual plus a lot of military insignias, boxers, airplanes, and presidents. If anyone here can help me with prices or refer me to a good price guide for this era I would sure be grateful. I will attempt to post the pictures now, please feel free to contact me with any information. Thank you! DJ

Hey there...

Try these folks. http://www.network54.com/Forum/526604/

There are some powerfully knowledgeable folks on there.

I always kinda liked those little guys. Please give me an email if you start selling any of them ungraded on eBay.

With kind regards,

Frank W.

DJ,

welcome to the site, the boxers and presidents would be the most valuable. These cards are not as demanding as the baseball players and can be found in collections of non sports cards and other collections. If you would to buy them in a lot 2.00-3.00 a piece would be fine. Pictures would be helpful to get an idea of condition to give you an overall value.

Jimmy
