Default Pre war Card References

This sight is just excellent and you guys have a great amount of knowledge. I was hoping to get some guidance out guides or books that help with the hobby. I have a guy that has offered me The World Tobacco Issues Index in 2 volumes for $100 in nice shape. Is this a good guide to own and for this price? Anything else out there that is a "must have" or that is just cool to have?

I currently own:

The Encyclopedia of Baseball Cards 1-3 by Lew Lipset
Baseball Cards 18th Edition fro Sports Collectors Digest
And a bunch of Old Cardboard magazines

Default a few musts

I would add the 1967 American Card Catalog to the list as well as a run of the VCBC magazines.
