Default 1907 Dietsche Detroit Tigers postcards

It is a long shot, but does anyone have, or have images of, any of the specific Dietsche postcards shown in the RPPC below. My theory is a collector took this photograph of the set, including the early Cobb Fielding, in 1907. I'd like to find one of these hand labeled postcards to confirm that theory.

No, these are not variations, sometimes the owner would write the name on the front of the postcard. Not issued like that.

Hi Jim,

I was looking at your great multi-player Dietsche card again - maybe it was like the FIRST prototype CHECKLIST created for a card set...

Although the cards were offered as a set by mail, they were apparently offered individually at the World Series.

The original cards had the info on the back, so they would have needed names written on the front to know what was included in a set for 25 cents. Of course to be consistent, they would have probably wrote a narrative on the back introducing the team...

I believe it is the 1909 Dietsche set that has names printed on the front, but they don't match the print format of your card.

Great card - Great find!!!

After the 1907 Dietsche Issue( no names on the front), the 1908 & 1909 Detroit Dietsche PC's were issued with "White" Names on the front if they were previously in the 1907 series and "Black" Names on the front if they were not included in the 1907 issue. Their are variations on the copyright dates with some showing 1908 with no names on the front.
