They look to be from the 1910 Elgin(Illinois) Kittens from the Northern Association(Class D)

I would guess that the single player image is of some fellow with a name of Andy Kyle. It also looks like these were both sent to people from the player himself.

This roster lists a "Kyle" https://www.statscrew.com/minorbaseb...ek11387/y-1910

Here is the Wiki page for Andy Kyle https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andy_Kyle

He was writing to people in Toronto which makes sense as that is where he was born.

Andy Kyle played briefly in the Major Leagues so there is value in that (I haven’t looked him up in any detail) and it appears that is his signature on back. He must have played on the 1910 Elgin Team although the data on Baseball Reference is not present (not uncommon for a Class D minor league team)

Basically for a team postcard to have any decent value it needs to be a professional team or have a Star present.it appears to be a minor league team although you might have to do research to see if there were any other future/former Major Leaguers playing on that team. They have value in the $75-150 range in my opinion, more if you can find more info on the team and who would payed on it. I would have to check my records on his signature as that may have a decent value as I don’t remember that name being an easy one to find nor do I think I have an example of his signature to compare to.

It looks like Kyle may have signed the front of the single player postcard. You can see “best wishes”, but the signature may have faded. Very cool card, and probably one that a Canadian baseball collector would pay good money for. His signature is likely rare and he apparently was the first person to play baseball and hockey at the top major league levels.

I found it on ancestry.com, in the US Border Crossings database.

Here's his Find-a-Grave profile:

There's a picture there that does look like the same man as on the postcard.
