Default New Look Yanks?

No. I'm not talking about the acquisition of Joey Gallo.

I'm referring to the mustache sported by pitcher Nestor Cortes in last night's game.

Are the Steinbreners finally relenting and allowing facial hair?

Yanks have allowed mustaches. Catfish Hunter Ron Guidry, David Wells spring to mind.

I believe the full beards are a no-no, but you can find pictures of Wells pushing the boundaries on that to.

Yankees have always allowed Mustaches, so he's in line with the policy. Some people think it's archaic, I kind of like it. Nothing will be as egregious as Donny Baseball though

I don't recall seeing any facial hair, mustache or otherwise, since the days of Munson, Guidry and Jackson.

I'll have to look back about David Wells.
