Hi Jamie, it’s an original and correct size t206 with a cut auto. Regarding the PSA holder, it’s a postcard holder.

All I can say is I think this is one of the stronger months for new Pickups and it is only 1 week into the month.
Cannot wait for every one to share all their winnings from all of these auctions this month

Default August pick up thread

Just picked up this 1909-16 PC758 Max Stein Post Cards Ty Cobb in the Goldin auction. I think it was a steal since the exact same card sold through Heritage back in April, 2018 for almost $2k more than what I just paid. One of only nine ever authenticated by PSA & SGC.

I love the Cy Young going fox hunting! That's fantastic.

Leon - the back of your postcard says that the Washington Americans took our best pitcher. Any idea who that was?

This is a monster thread. I see something and think "holy crap, is that great" and someone tops it a few posts later.

That FM Ruth is just crazy great, Jeff; I love larger format cards. You must be thrilled.

But then there's that E107 Cy freakin' Young. Really??? What is that like a pop -2?

Can't let a Williams RC go unremarked...and a Stein Cobb.

T205 Joss has been on my radar for some time as well and that one is sharp-looking.

I did not realize that Young hunting PC is that old. For some reason I thought it was from the 1930s. I have one somewhere; guess I will have to relocate it in my album since it is out of date range and I am OCD as hell about where my cards go in my albums.

I didn't get much this month but I can throw a few logs on the fire:

Got a bit of a King Carl collection going right now.

The cardboard definitely makes more of an impression with me than the Wheaties--which pretty much taste like cardboard.

BAAAHAHAHAHA! I don’t even consider them part of my subset. But I’ll pick up some nice replicas at some point.

Last 4 are Green Cobb, Matty, Brown and Chance Red.

On a tight budget so I never thought I'd own a Wagner from his playing days, but scored this E106 from my LCS today!

Default 1940 Play Ball #171 Harry Heilmann

One of 1940's "retouched photo" cards arrived today. Not sure where in the production process they decided to smooth out his face.

Tris Speaker got similar treatment.

ALWAYS very nice to look at m101-6s. That Wheat with the glove in the back pocket is one of my faves from that set, one of about 100 favorites.

Finally sorted out my National haul. Apparently as I wandered from table to table my collecting focus seemed to wander as well...

Great cards. I'm not familiar with all of them but outstanding Red Cobb and 39 Play Ball Williams. Keep 'em coming.

Figured this fit better on the card side than memorabilia.
The BEAR is a little scuffed but super cool sign.
Found it at a random Facebook antiques and sign sale.
