Cool postcard, but how do you know that McGinnity is the third person on the far left? Is this a published image where the players were identified?

Thanks for the explanation. I was hoping that it was a published photo to confirm McGinnity’s ID. To me, the images are not nearly clear enough to make a positive ID, but maybe I am being too cautious.

Easy to narrow it down - logical to look for management in the front row. The 1910 Reach Guide has photos/player names of both 1909 teams (Montreal & Newark). Vintageball.com has a clear photo image of this PC on his website - he also states "Clearly visible is Hall of Famer "Iron Man" McGinnity..."
I think that using an artist's depiction of McGinnity (on the baseball card) is not a good way to identify him in a photo. I've attached the 1909 images of McGinnity and Wolverton (from the composite) and a 1910 image of McGinnity. To my eyes, it could as easily be Wolverton, or perhaps someone else entirely. Edited to add: An ebay seller identified Wolverton as the second from the left, but did not identify McGinnity in the image, despite knowing that he was on this team.
