But it is pretty neat. I'd guess gamepiece. Wonder if there are more.

I would believe the seller when, at the bottom of the auction, they said:

"A: It is not a photo card..it is paper and was found in an old purse. It probably came from an old magazine."

The back lines up...meaning it's centered...and the dialogue on the back is baseball related. it doesn't look cut at all to me. I think it's a card of some sort.

My brother Rhys purchased the item. We collectively had never seen anything like it so we took a chance. It doesn't look cut out or anything, but it definitely could be just that. Anyways, I guess we will see when it arrives.

I need to say I hope it turns out to be a card. I love those kinds of things. I have, too often, found sellers to answer correctly though. All that being said it does look like a card to me too happy.gif.....GOOD LUCK!!

A PCL Collector friend of mine informed me that this was an accordian style booklet of photos/cards put out by the Sacramento Team in 1914 and that this is similar to the Baltimore Shirt Company cards issued later. I guess this makes it a true "card" to all those who believe the Baltimore Shirt issues are cards, and not a "card" to those that believe the Baltimore cards are just part of a bigger piece. Either way to me, it is vintage and really cool Lefty Williams piece so I am happy. I was told there are 4 known booklets in the hobby and they are all tucked away in advanced collections. A special thanks to the PCL collector who filled me in, I dont want to name him incase he wants his privacy but I bet most of you already know who he is.
