But it is pretty neat. I'd guess gamepiece. Wonder if there are more. |

I would believe the seller when, at the bottom of the auction, they said: |

The back lines up...meaning it's centered...and the dialogue on the back is baseball related. it doesn't look cut at all to me. I think it's a card of some sort. |

My brother Rhys purchased the item. We collectively had never seen anything like it so we took a chance. It doesn't look cut out or anything, but it definitely could be just that. Anyways, I guess we will see when it arrives. |

I need to say I hope it turns out to be a card. I love those kinds of things. I have, too often, found sellers to answer correctly though. All that being said it does look like a card to me too |

A PCL Collector friend of mine informed me that this was an accordian style booklet of photos/cards put out by the Sacramento Team in 1914 and that this is similar to the Baltimore Shirt Company cards issued later. I guess this makes it a true "card" to all those who believe the Baltimore Shirt issues are cards, and not a "card" to those that believe the Baltimore cards are just part of a bigger piece. Either way to me, it is vintage and really cool Lefty Williams piece so I am happy. I was told there are 4 known booklets in the hobby and they are all tucked away in advanced collections. A special thanks to the PCL collector who filled me in, I dont want to name him incase he wants his privacy but I bet most of you already know who he is. |
