Boy, am I excited!! After three years of searching I have added a card to my 1906 New York Giants World Champions (of 1905) Ullman Postcard set. I'm now at 10 of 12 with Henry Mathewson (impossible) and Donlin only remaining to complete. View my Ullman collection at:

OUTSTANDING, Steve.

I was just commenting on that card yesterday with someone, and how nice the image is.

Great pickup.

Nope, not a Shellback. Sixth Fleet. U.S.S. Forestall (CVA-59); U.S.S. Massey (DD-778); and U.S.S. Camp (DER-251). Never made it to the Pacific.

Steve,

I wish that I still had my Harry Mathewson Ullman. I would gladly sell it to you. I sold it cheap (about $200 if my memory serves me) several years ago to the relative of Christy and Henry Mathewson who used to post on this site.

By the way, if your scan of the Harry Mathewson Ullman came from me (I don't remember if it is the same one), you are welcome to use my name on your site.

Steve,

That is truly a great set you've put together. Very nice looking and unique cards. How long did it take to put together?

If my memory serves me correctly, Steve was offered the card and turned it down before I sold it.

Nope. Can't imagine. Poor Andy, the cold must be getting to him.

P.S. Andy, you have a couple of emails from me on your hotmail account.

I'm pretty sure that we discussed the card. At the time, $200 bucks for the card in low condition was pretty steep. I remember that some time after I sold it you got back in touch with me to see if it was still available, but it was gone.

I just checked my hotmail, and there are no messages yet.

Andy:

Is that abaran0427 (a zero) or abaranO427 (an O )?

And you know you may be right. Old age creeps slowly but inevitably.

Steve,

I just got your messages. There was a problem with Hotmail. I hadn't received any messages since yesterday, then just got 14 messages.
