I'm trying to find some information about BF-3 pennants:
a) photo of Type 6 REDS (name only).
b) photo of Type 5 REDS with ball.
c) need Type 2 Cuyler & Derringer
d) need Type 3 Derringer
e) need Type 4 Reds-Catcher

Jim,I appreciate your photos. However,I wondered if you would mind if I sent you a photo of mine ? I have two of Type 6 REDS and would like to make sure which one is correct. One is close to yours, but the script is different and the other has larger letters.
I also have two of the Type 5,one is the same as yours and maybe you can tell me what the other one is.
If this is ok,I will try to send it from my work tomorrow since I can't send it from home.
Thanks,Len

Thanks Tom for the compliment but I am just a helpless addict like most of the other board members.
Len, type six bf3s are a problem in the sense that they are impossible to trace and date. I have found at least 3 different companies that have issued generic pennants that we call type sixes. All have different type fonts. So I really can't answer your question which company or which font is the "real" type six. About all I can say is that type sixes are found in several different type styles, all variations of type six. You can try to collect one or all of the variations. I have collected a full set of type sixes but in several type styles. Because of their rarity, collecting all of the styles would be an impossible task.

Tom,I incorrectly listed the Type 4 pitcher as one I needed and you sent me a photo.I meant to list the Reds catcher(the posting has been corrected). Do you have a photo of it ?
Thanks in advance.
