Default May Pickup Thread

I haven't seen a pickup thread on this side in a while, so I thought I would start one.

I'm working on my Brave's post war rookie collection and just added Spahn that I have been wanting for a long long time.

While I'm mainly into nonsport cards, I've been searching for this card a long time. Glad to finally cross it off the wantlist.

that is one sweet Spahn! - you may wait a long time, but boy, you jump in with both feet!
nicely done.

My latest are on their way, but no scans yet: a nice '62 Mays and a '61 Santo

Nothing extraordinary, but I like 'em!
Ronnie will be in the HOF soon, and this is one of my favorite issues of Willie. And if I recall correctly, once you get higher than this grade for the 62 Mays, the price really accelerates for some reason.

Interesting PSA bash here: I would say the Mays is a much stronger card than the Santo. Agree? (backs are gorgeous on both)

Thanks, Jerry
