Default Robert Lifson/Robert Edwards/James Spence and Autograph Alert!

I find autograph alert to be somewhat controversial, and blow some of the mistakes JSA and PSA make out of proportion, but I must admit, I do visit this website to see the latest happenings in our hobby.

I also think the world of Robert Lifson, his great auction company, and admire his commitment to do the right things for our hobby.

So I read with particular interest at Autographalert.com yesterday, a story dealing with Robert Lifson and his supposid non endorsement of JSA and their abilities to authenticate items.

Anyone else read the article? The author of the article made it sound like their may be some changes at Robert Edwards and the use of third party authenticators. Or perhaps they misrepresented Robert's thoughts?

I read it as the author giving his opinion as to what major auction houses should do, not what any specific auction house is actually doing.
