Default PSA - Assembly

It has been quite a while since I did a sub on my own and I have a question. I turned in an 11 ticket sub the first day of the National. It cruised right through grading but has been hung up in assembly since 9/15? Do I have cause for concern? From what I read the delays are usually at the grading stage, not his one. It was a Value level sub so it only passed it's estimated due date on 12/14.

It is not unusual. I have had orders inexplicably hung up in all stages of grading/Assembly/QA Check, etc. for reasons I don't understand. They have had an 80's grading special and my orders went relatively quickly in to Grading with no recent movement.

I would not worry, yet

My most recent ticket sub was at assembly for six weeks. After the grades popped it took an additional two weeks to ship them back to me.

I think it might have something to do with holders.

Yes assembly in holders....but it also seems like the speed depends upon the service level as well as the category of the card, as well as whether it was a PSA Special or not. I have had some order cruise through Assembly, while others sat for a while. Eventually all orders were received
