Default Is it a W517 Mini or Exhibit?

Any help with this one is appreciated. Can anyone confirm that the 4 in 1 Exhibit did or didn’t use this particular photo? I can’t find a picture of the card with Jackson. If they did use it does it have anything extra added?

This one measures 1 9/16 x 2 9/16”.

Looks to me that it is a W517 Mini with the border cut off. PSA missed the sizing when labeling it a standard W517.

All opinions welcome. TIA

ESCO did use the Jackson in its 4 on 1 issue

but I think yours is a W517 mini owing to the stock. The Eshibit had a polished white front paper, the W517 had the same stock throughout.

Why does the 4 in 1 Exhibit have players from 4 different teams. I thought those Exhibits all had players from the same team on them. At least all the ones I own do.

I am not as familiar with the W517 Mini, as I have seen a lot more of the W517 over the years compared to the mini versions, but I am pretty sure Adam has provided a fool-proof way, which I don't remember reading about before, of identifying if a card is a W517 mini or a cut down Exhibits card.

The regular size W517 cards came in at least two distinct card stocks, as seen in this scan:

While scanning these two cards, which happen to be both of Bing Miller, I discovered something I had never noticed before, which I will share on a separate thread.

You are thinking of the 1929-38 issues.

There were two 4 on 1 issues in the 1920s. The one shown above had ballplayers from different teams.

The other one, which is earlier, had ballplayers, boxers and actors:

The latter had their own corresponding strip cards too
