Default 8th Annual 2009 Net54baseball.com- National Dinner- Thurs., July 30, 6pm -12am

I was asked by a good forum member to post this on the memorabilia side too. My apologies for not posting here already. Even though many memorabilia folks don't collect cards I usually think of them at least glancing at the card side of the board. All memorabilia forum members, in good standing, are also invited.

As the Title says the Net54baseball.com National Dinner will be Thursday July 30th, from 6pm until 12am at the Sheraton Cleveland Airport Hotel. It is one of the closest hotels, if not the closest, to the Convention Center. There are buses that go back and forth about every 30 minutes, if I remember correctly. It looks like fajitas and fixins this year. I don't have anymore details right now but a room is booked for it. I will post an RSVP thread in about 1 week (or less) on both sides of the board, at which time folks can RSVP. Please don't RSVP in this particular thread.

We always have a good time and I am sure this year will be no different. I hope everyone can make it. More details in the coming week(s). best regards

I highly recommend attending this particular event, even if you don't spend much time at the show itself. This Net54 dinner is one of, if not the most rewarding parts of the entire National experience.

Leon, Thanks, last year was excellant....only I wish there had been more poeple from the memorabilia side. For those who haven't seen it, below is a link to my coverage of last years dinner I included with my 08' National coverage. Also below is a photo of "Jewish Collector" Alan dead center in the black shirt, and his dad Joe to his left in the grayish green shirt and white hair. And that's Leon in the chefs hat and coat serving up....just kidding that's not Leon! The white spots is grease in the air from the cooking

Thanks for posting that pic. That is my good friend Tim Newcomb too, front and center. As for me in the chefs hat.....nah, I'm not that skinny and that guy looks to have more hair than I do...BTW, I only really want to have 1 rsvp list and it's on the card side.......hope to see more memorabilia guys there too....best regards
