Default Shout out to Bill Rayburn!

A few months back Bruce Garland and I commissioned Bill to construct a Cincinnati Red Stockings Bat. Bill used his knowledge and imagination and produced the work of art that you see below. The black willow bat is 39 inches long and approximately 40 ounces. It has a leather grip and a smooth follow through. I am positive that Cal McVey would approve! If you are not familiar with Bill's work, he is a true craftsman. He can create, restore and resurrect any bat project that you may be contemplating. The price was extremely fair for his time and effort. I would recommend his skills to anyone! A++ Bill!
Thank You!
John

John , I couldn’t agree more about Bill. I have only this one bat, and could not be
Happier. You, however, have a true bat collection and it says even more that you treasure Bill’s work. Nice uniform also.

Thanks Bruce!
I used to play 1860's style baseball before all the hammy pulls and knee surgeries. Our team is sponsored by the Cincinnati Reds. That's the uniform that our team wears. The rules are very simple. No swearing, no spitting and no sliding.

John, thanks so much for the kind words. I am very glad that you and Bruce like the bats. I get a lot of enjoyment out of making these bats but it gives me a tremendous thrill to see that someone else likes them. A shout out to Matt, a long time friend from NJ. Hope you know my new friend Bruce down there is south Jersey.

Wow! What a great bat. Bill is a master craftsman.

Bill- Did you make two identical bats for John and Bruce?

Hey Gary, I did make two identical. While talking with each other they discovered that both had ordered bats and had similar ideas as to what they wanted so it led to the "CBBC" bat design for both.
