Default Butter Cream Ruth on Ebay

If you know anything about 1933 butter creams...you probably know the ruth card is incredibly rare with only a few known to exist.

This one on ebay is listed as a repro...with authenticity guarantee. It's obviously not real.

So will this be authenticated as a reprint as this is how it's listed????

I guess it means they will authentic that it is a Genuine Fake.

At least he describes it in the Description as a reprint. Although hinting it is an older reprint.

Would be nice if he put it in the Top title of the card.

The title is what will get them cause the title for sure makes it seem like it is authentic

100% agree that is why I thought it should be in the title

Description also lists at the bottom "proceeds from this sale will be donated to the wounded warrior project". Yet I don't see the official fundraiser/charity flair that guarantees eBay takes a % for the said charity. So take that with about a mountain of salt. Definitely a scummy move imo.

This is an interesting. The seller did list it as a REPRINT ( even though it was buried deep in the description). The card price is currently being “upped” by one buyer. I’m assuming the buyer is knowlegeable and experience because he has over 1,000 feedback AND he’s bidding on alot of cards. The skeptic in me feels that this is being shilled.

Hopefully, CSG will reach out to the eventual winner.

Hopefully, Andy Broome sees this.
