Default W530 Pinkerton Mike Mitchell team change

I wanted to let people interested in this set know that there is are Mike Mitchell cards for both Pittsburgh and Washington. Perhaps this is old news to some, but I have been collecting the set for a number of years and never noticed it before. The Pittsburgh card is a scorecard back and the Washington is a blank back.

To the best of my knowledge the only known team change in the set before was the Joe Tinker card. In the set, Tinker can be found as Manager for the Cincinnati Reds and Chicago Federals.

Default A Third Mitchell

Hi Jeff,

Sorry for digging up such an old thread and missing it at the time it was posted.

I no longer have the following Pinkerton in my collection but here is a Mitchell with a third team designation (Cubs) who he played for in 1913. The back also has a March, 1914 date and signature that I've seen on some other Pinkerton post cards in the past.

I'm not very familiar with the set so I apologize if the Chicago card is already a known entity and the other two variations that you posted are the exceptions.

Regards,

Scott

Thanks for the update on the Mitchell card. Now I have another W530 to watch out for. I thought I was almost finished with the set.

Other than the new Mitchell, I only need Wagner and Hoblitzell to finish the set.
