Default I just can't part with it.....

You ever get a card that was supposed to be for either trade or resale, then like it so much you say, I will just keep it? I mean, this is a great upgrade to a trimmed Collins 300 series back (my justification)...so, it goes in the "keeper pile" ....Thanks to my good friend David Bry.an for this one...

I've done that with smaller priced cards from lots. Bought a lot either for resale or I needed a couple cards and the rest would be sold, then ended up keeping cards because they looked cool and would sell for $50 or less.

Probably the most expensive ones I did that with were matching 1890 N172 cards of Sid Farrar. I say probably, because I'd sell/trade them for the right price, so for now, I've just kept them a lot longer than I planned on doing. I got the first one so cheap for an OJ Player's League card that I held onto it and then when a second one popped up for an Ebay BIN bargain, I bought that one too and it looked cool to have two of them, especially considering how rare any 1890 OJ's are to begin with.

It's hard to see on the scan(easier in person), which is probably why I got them both for steals, but the PL symbol is off to the right of his left foot on both

Um, yeah. Just about everything I buy for trade or resale I end up keeping. Damn this disease!

Had a hard time not buying the SL Wood out of Leon's case in Chicago. Never seen a nicer one.

Yes sir, it was there...and the more I looked at it the more I wanted to keep it...so it's in my collection now. The centering is just about 50/50.....love the card.

I never used to liked T201s. When I was beginning to snatch up every signed T206 card I could find I came across these signed T201s. Once I got them in hand, however, I got that charge you get when you know you've got a keeper. They're every bit as important to me as my signed T206s.

That's a beauty, Steven. I would have a REAL hard time getting rid of that one, even if it was for a downgrade + cash. If you can afford to, keep that sucker!
