But to your point, here are the PSA cards that have been graded, including many Messi's with card grades. Because no need for PSA/DNA, right?

To my eye, most of the ones with pictures are real, but there are some with forged signatures. But again, the signatures were not evaluated by PSA at all.

Looks like a messy situation. I wonder if Secretariat has any cards? (sorry, gang). Seriously, how does it work on the auto #'d cards? Do card company reps watch Framber Valdez sign hundreds of cards at atime, or are they shipped to his agent and returned by scout's honor?

Perhaps you could do some due diligence and cross off Luka from that list. It has been clearly proven multiple times now with a plethora of both photos and videos where he signs his name with the loopy "Lulu" signature. This conspiracy theory has long since been thoroughly debunked.

They try to book signings in house when possible, but usually the players refuse, so they resort to scout's honor (or an auto-pen, sibling, friend, etc.).

I didn't watch the video, but someone told me that Panini represents they witnessed the signings in person, is this so? I remember Upper Deck autos used to have that language.

Out of curiosity, which card would you prefer as a collector?

A) A panini sticker auto card
B) A panini sticker auto card where the original sticker auto was wiped off, and then resigned on-card by the athlete

Everyone prefers an on-card auto to a sticker auto for obvious reasons. But is an on-card wiped and re-signed auto still preferable, or would that rank below a sticker auto for you?

I would personally value B more than A for a card in my collection. Knowing the athlete actually signed the card matters more to me than whether or not the previous signature was wiped off (assuming they used something like rubbing alcohol as opposed to sandpaper or a grinder).
