Default Express

I submitted 3 orders in November. All 3 took about 3-4 days to be input. Then, 6-10 days for grading. I sent 2 more last week and it took 2 days to enter system and both are in "grading" status.

Side note: I did send in 50 cards for re-older about 3 months ago and those aren't even in the system yet.

As swarmee mentioned, the BO thread is a good place to keep up with the current pace of different submission tiers. I have an Express order currently: 15 cards, arrived 12/11, entered in and researched 12/17, and then they moved over to grading today (12/18).

Shockingly a single card order in express entered in 1 day shipped in 3 about 1 month ago.. Make sure to label outside of your box and read new instructions.

any idea if the 1-2 day turnaround is realistic at SGC for the premium service?

there is no special notice anywhere on the site suggesting delays....

You don’t label the box anymore, just attach the printed bar code.

I just sent in a single card for $75/express crossover service.

Should arrive to PSA tomorrow. I can provide updates.

I sent one card to PSA using their $75 service by FedEx on Saturday Jan 2nd. They had it in their possession on Monday Jan 4th. It was entered into their system on Friday Jan 8th and I received it back today Feb 3rd.

My 1 card "Express" Service took exactly 31 Days (from the day I dropped off at USPS to the day that I received back).

Total cost ended up at $104

(we are in the wrong business)

From previous threads I was expecting around a month like yours. Now getting concerned it will take much longer.

I got a regular $50 order back in about a month that submitted late Nov and an express in about 2 weeks at that time.

The rate at which the delays are increasing is the biggest concern.

3 card express order - arrived 1/29, entered 2/8. No grades yet (wouldn't have expected yet), but hopefully not more than a couple of weeks. We shall see...

I just sent an express order in to psa as well. Should get there today. First time sending cards to them on my own. Do they send updates for all orders or just the club members? I didn’t buy a membership.

I’m also patiently waiting on the bulk sub. I had forgot what I sent in until last night. I found the list and I kinda surprised.

Was this the one that was originally going to be sent in the end of May?

Your order will have a status bar that updates throughout the process once it is logged into their system.

I have an order that was checked in, in August. My records indicate it was dropped off in Jersey significantly earlier, but PSA says I must be mistaken. Still in R&I

August isn’t anything special unfortunately.

We have orders from June that just arrived back Monday and July still in grading. Have a friend with some from May.

With the service PSA provides I would question the use of the word “Express” in their most rapid service category.

Perhaps the following tiers should be utilized

1. Don’t Hold Your Breath

2. No inquiries regarding your order during the year of your submission.

3. We didn’t think slower service was possible, but we were wrong.

4. Brownian Movement (Look it up) is faster than our graders.

5. You’re lucky if we even find your submission.

6. Time (all of it) is on our side.

7. Modern cards may be vintage before you see them again.

8. You can only spin the grading wheel so many times in an hour.

9. Never get treated rapidly.

10. Our reputation is literally a house of cards.

I mailed a Monthly Special in early June. Got the cards today. Eight months. The previous order took seven months; the one before that, four and a half.

Just a question, well, may two, noted at least one PSA 2021 Topps for sale - if they used Express Grading how could they list it so cheaply; if not, how did they get a card graded that only supposedly came out Feb 10th?
