Default The Floating Heads of E99, Bishop & Co.

We started getting into a conversation about E99 floating head poses in the pick up thread so I figure this will be a better place to have a short discussion. My guess is they would come in one each of the different colors known, green, yellow, blue, purple or black. I think I have only seen one or two black backgrounds from the whole E99 set, and it wasn't a floating head, so those are still quite intriguing. Anyone care to show a few more?

Was this the first year any baseball card utilized the floating head design?

Love the floating look from this set, looks a lot better than other floating head cards out there, i.e. the rose rookie.

Default floating heads

very unique cards.
they remind me of that old star trek episode from the 60s when Kirk
is taken over by the 'floating head' or should I say floating brain of Sargon.
a wee bit creepy.
all the best,
barry
