What kind of business would sell a collection like that on Facebook? I have my doubts.

It was a cool collection from the family of Nig Clarke a panoramic 1909 team picture a couple cabinet cards and a family album. He had a $5000 reserve the best offer he got was $3,000 he said he was going to consign to REA.

I was on for a little bit but it was little to hectic for me to stay on for 2 hours. Did the Reach sign sell?

I don't think the sign sold it was in really bad shape and he was firm at $8500. It was very hectic there were no deals to be had here.

I agree, the sign had several holes and probably could have been cleaned to be more presentable but at $8500 it was not worth the chance.

+1

Curious what others valued it at? I was hoping it would start a bit lower and a few of us would get some bids in.
