SMPEP (Patrick) did a great job organizing this last year, but it looks like he hasn't posted here in many months. Hopefully he is up to it again, because I am always eager to toss some vintage down someone's chimney hole!

I know how good Mantle was. It is just ridiculous when people try to say he was better than Mays or Williams. What is next, better than Ruth? I get it, Yankee fans loved the guy. I have known that for over 50 years.

Get a sense of humor, man. Notice my big smiley there.

Also, no one usually says that. The claims have been about other aspects of comparing Mantle to the others. I don't know why the subject upsets you so much, but I won't debate it anymore.
