Default Can anyone help me identify these cards

Posted By: Felicia

Hi,

I had these scans sent to me and the person is in the process of putting an offer together for these cards along with the T-206's that you had helped determine were real.
I have not seen these before but by the picture of the A's it looks like it is pre-war. I maybe wrong.
If you can tell me what they are as well as an approx value it would help me tell this person what he maybe should offer for this lot.
As always, Thank you so much for your help.

They look like the cut out center panels from the T202 set.

That's exactly what they are...they look kind of neat standing alone.

Felicia, don't pay a whole lot for them as they are cut from a larger card and were not meant to be cut out like that. They are neat, and I do see them sell for $5-$10 each on occasion...the Cobb sliding into third may sell for more than that.

This one matches one of your center panels, and as noted, the cut out "middles" are not worth much, although they're somewhat interesting. T202s are called "triple folders" and were meant to have the ends folded over the center black and white photo. Different end panels (players) share these middle photos.

EDITED: actually, I see where my card does not match up with any of the panels offered, but you get the idea.
