I suppose that's why it's in an authentic holder. It would have been nice if GAI noted that the card was trimmed otherwise an unknowing person might pay a large sum of money for the card not knowing it was trimmed. |

Anson is on it... most of those chocolate cards have wide margins. |

What infielder would have his legs crossed when a vicious line drive hitter such as Hornsby was at the plate? |

Looks like 3rd base coach, otherwise, the 3B is playing in foul territory |

Most times GAI will note the reason for the "Authentic" grade on their label on the back of the holder. If you have I scan of the back, it should indicate trimmed. |

Bill, I hope this is the case with the GAI AUTHENTIC label. The AUTHENTIC designation is a good service so long as it isn't a disservice. Ok, that is a borderline Yogiism... |

I have had a few cards that GAI labeled as authentic, and each one had the reason printed on the reverse side label. The last card that I sold with this was a T205 Joss that I beleive was purchased by a board member. I agree that if they intend to use the authentic grade that they should provide a reason for why the card does not merit a number grade. |
