Help /w wide range of autos (Ryan, Ripken, Koufax?, etc)
Hey guys, just had a local guy sell me his collection. There was quite a few autos in there. I got it cheap enough that the cards cover anything these autos wouldn't bring if authentic.
Anywhere here are the autos: I did not think the Koufax was good, the S looked off and normally his sig seems to bed one with more finesse, but maybe someone can tell otherwise. Looked at these Ryans with a loupe, I did not think they were prints. Last edited by Sean1125; 08-27-2012 at 01:18 PM. |

Sewell looks good, Ripken looks off-never seen him sign the "r" in Jr. and I have not seen an "R" in Ripken connect to the I. However, I am not an expert.

I'm hoping the Ripken is an early sig, I know how much they can vary.
I didn't check it before I got the lot, but I don't see how any person with half a brain would try to forge a Ripken Jr on a decently expensive card. If a Ripken expert can chime in that would be great. Here is a PSA/DNA similar one pulled from an e-bay auction - but of course they cut the picture off at the J.....: Sean Last edited by Sean1125; 08-27-2012 at 02:47 PM. |

Yeah in looking at that Cal, it just didn't look right, haven't seen that style of his sig before...hopefully it's an early rookie signature
