Default Pittsburgh Card Shop Owner Lands Cache Of Nearly 500 Cards From 1933-34 Sets

I wonder how this will affect the current market prices for Goudey cards.

Really sharp color on a good number of them.

There's 10s-100s of thousands of Goudeys out there...a few hundred more shouldn't shift the hobby.

Those do really pop...great colors. Seeing that many Ruth's together is something else. About 7 months ago I stopped in that shop while on a work road trip...bought a few cards and the guys working were really nice. Cool to see...

It won't affect the market at all, this represents a minuscule growth in supply. Goudey's are far from rare and there are tons of them in the hobby.

Wow, six 1933 cards of Babe Ruth and eight Lou Gehrig cards total. What a great collection to have walk into the shop. I guess there are still collections to be found.

I thought it was interesting that they were the originals purchased from the pack and there were so many 1934 #37 Gehrig's but no #61's. Is there any difference in population on those two cards?
