Default Intro: New Collector Of Baseball Postcards

Hello,

As the title states I am a relatively new collector of baseball related postcards. I have always been a fan of baseball; growing up an Indians fan in the glory days of the late 90's and becoming a Reds fan when I moved to Southern Ohio.

I have been a postcard collector for the past several years focusing on mostly street scenes/aerials of cities and towns, industry, and transportation. Recently I have added a few baseball related postcards to my collection including several stadiums views and thought it was a good time to join here.

I've attached a few cards from my collection. Hopefully.

I'd love to hear your advice on collecting early baseball related cards including stadium view postcards. Any suggestions are welcome and appreciated.

Thanks,
Joe

Hey there Joe

Nice Palace of the Fans postcards, and welcome to the site.
You'll find it both pleasurable and informative.

Hello Joe and welcome. Postcards are super cool to collect!! I would spend some time looking at this thread below

Plus, a great website to learn and look at for reference is this one from fellow board member Robert (who inspired me to start collecting them).

Palace of the Fans must have been so cool in person. Those are some awesome images!

I'd also recommend registering with Love Of The Game Auctions (if you haven't already). They always offer a killer selection of vintage Postcards (among other great cards and memorabilia).

Welcome aboard!
