Default Double Sided Display or Frame

I have coerced my daughter into getting me for Father's Day an ancient cigarette clamshell box to keep my modest collection of t205 and t206 cards in for storage.

But I also have a few t201 Mecca Double Folders and t202 Hassan Triple Folders, all raw. I am considering the possibility of a double sided display or frame, so they can be safely viewed from both sides, front and back. I think both of these series are exceptionally attractive cards. Anybody have a display suggestion?

Get a frame that has double paned glass. In Adobe Illustrator make a template that has cutouts for each card and have someone who does vinyl lettering cut it out. (One piece of vinyl that has all the cutouts). Affix that to one pane of glass. Put cards inside each cutout and put the other sheet of glass on top. Then frame.

Wow, that is a great idea. That would look fantastic. Many thanks.

RED = Vinyl
WHITE = Cutouts

If the vinyl is thick enough, the cards won't move between the glass. Michaels has double glass frames.

Would there be any concern about whether vinyl would be archival safe?

I have 4 frames I did, and never had any issues.

Ideally the interior walls in your house would be made of glass or acrylic...that way you wouldn't have to remove the frame from your wall.

When I get tired of looking at the fronts, I turn it around and look at the backs.

The vinyl has adhesion on one side. That's carefully applied to one side of glass. If the cutouts have a big enough space, they never touch the cards.

Someone mentioned making a color copy of one side and framing them side-by-side.
