Default Open For Bidding - Love of the Game, Summer Premier Auction

Hi All:

Posting from my hotel room at the National to let you know that the LOTG Summer Premier Auction is now open for bidding. The auction closes August 24.

Lots of interesting items in this auction including some great advertising display items, a nice selection of autographed cards, and a handful of gorgeous cabinets. The auction includes 100 or so lots from the Ted Patterson Collection (you can read about it in Sports Collectors Daily).

As promised, all the cards that we submitted for grading or authentication that have never before been graded are marked with a "Freshly Graded" icon. We have made our scans as large as possible for you to open and enlarge onscreen, and when I return from Chicago I'll create a database of high-res scans for download.

Print catalogs mail to active bidders today. If you're at the National, we've got a lot of items from the auction on display at booth 1021 - come by and say hi!

Good luck bidding, please visit the auction if you're so inclined: http://loveofthegameauctions.com/catalog.aspx

Any questions, please reach out privately - I'm at the show, so I will be a little slow to respond, but you can bet I'll respond. Once I return from Chicago next week I'll be quicker!

Best,
-Al

Good luck, and if they haven't already people should read Al's June 5 statement where he takes a commendable stand against altered cards.

Default Hey Al

Just giving you a heads up bud, Lot #322 1914 CJ Bresnahan is actually a 1915. PSA labeled it incorrectly.
