I got a few inquiries lately about the labels on packages I sent and decided I'd share the wealth here. I've been using a Dymo LabelWriter for a few years (eBay search) and highly recommend them for anyone who has poor handwriting and/or sends more than a couple of items a month. These use thermal labels and Dymo provides an easy, free service that corrects addresses (9-digit zips, bar codes, etc.). I'm convinced that packages with these labels arrive sooner at their destinations - possibly because they can be machine-read.

They work with PC's and Macs. Labels go for around 30 cents each in bulk.

So after you print the label, you still have to take it to the Post Office and pay for shipping? Or can you print the usps labels and pay for the shipping online? (where USPS picks it up at your door)

Thank you

I just use USPS and print the labels with postage. Works great.
