Default Question about a t206 Doyle Natl

I submitted my 1910 Piedmont 350 subjects Joe Doyle Natl to sgc to be graded. Sgc sent the card back and said it was altered due to excessive paper loss?? The card/ tag they sent back said it was not trimmed, wasn't altered, wasn't counterfit, so why not slab it? I figured Id ask some of you more seasoned collectors for your opinions? I'm not sure how to upload pics but I can send them via email if someone wanted to see them. When I spoke to sgc they said the card was authentic but evidence of alteration due to paper loss.

Did you not check the box on the submission form that states you want SGC to slab 'authentic' cards with an 'A'?

I've noticed when you check the Authentic box when using online submission, after you print the submission form, the box is not checked.

how can they tell intent on paper loss?

if the paper loss was truly an accident through wear, it is not altered, is it? should get a 1 poor. how can they tell someone peeled off paper on purpose rather than an accident through wear?

oh sorry, we are talking about the tp graders here, i know why, they do what they want that day like always.
