$62 Million Dollars per season.
Wow
I saw this article. Anthony Davis signed a 3 year Max extension for $186 million. That is $62 million per year He is amazing player when healthy. But he has missed 26 games or more per year the last 3 years. And the last time he played more than 65 games was in the 2017-18 season. Don't understand that extension. He still has two years left on his existing contract, and has been breaking down for years already.
Unless they have an opt-out clause (which I doubt), it doesn't make much sense to me. Even with skyrocketing revenue, salary caps, and smaller rosters in the NBA.

My take is that this is all about keeping LeBron happy so he stays in LA. I agree though that it's a ton of money for a guy who can't stay healthy
