I'll say:
A round and a half of golf, stopped after the ninth hole due to lightning warnings in the area??
Or...number of ex-girlfriends??

I will go out on a limb here and say that is the number of strikeouts per game Roger Clemens would have averaged IF he done as many PEDs as Pedro Martinez. Could also be the number of batting average points Tony Gwynn added to his career average from is Barry Bonds like increase in production during his mid/late 30s.

Did I win?

Clearly Frank is referring to former US President William Howard Taft, who would have turned 166 this year.

27- hmm, most of the obvious or good ones have been taken. Maybe it's the
number of times in 2024 some butthurt commenter will wildly guess that
players other than his favorites, "must" have used PEDs to reach their
achievements. 2 per month, and a little change? Geez people. Trent King

I actually didn’t realize this was a contest, but I can say with certainty that at least 10 posts are incorrect so far.

Dang. I'll try again. uh.... we're talking about the 27 books of the New Testament? We're talking about Vladimir Guerrero? We're debating if 27 outs in a baseball game is the right number?

The beautiful thing about the Yankees' 27 titles...no other team is going to equal that in my lifetime.

They look like they sell pretty well. Apparently collectors chase cards with the Ross hairdo.

I think 29 is the NBA record, but times have changed. Detroit is trusting the process and waiting to draft in the coming years. 2-80, or 12-70, I'm not sure it matters to them. The Rockets tried this (it's a tough watch) and gave up and signed proven free agents and are decent again.

Just in case not everyone has caught on yet...

2-1 the start

28 the streak

3-36 the present

but, at least, the Lions are doing well tonight...
