Default 1932 Babe Ruth Sanella Authenticity?

Posted By: Ryan

I recently traded for this card seen here. The member got it from another guy who owned it for a while and was VERY sure it was authentic! The condition of this card, as you can see, is AMAZING. It looks near flawless, which makes me a bit skeptical of a card that's 75+ years old and of Babe Ruth. So, you are experts. What do you think? I'm still waiting on a scan of the back...

Any help would be appreciated! I don't know if there are signs of reprints in these cards!

Image isn't loading for me, but the market has been absolutely flooded with Sanella's the last few years. You should be able to get complete sets, including Ruth, for $75-$125.

I have never seen or heard of reprints of this card. As Anthony said they are quite common and I don't think someone would spend the time to reprint it.

Extremely common card (most common vintage Ruth by far) No reason to reprint it.
