Those are pretty cool Leon. Where did you find them? I imagine the Ehmke is probably the only type, do you know are there other Pittsburgh players in the Pittsburgh Provision cards?

I got one on ebay and one from a board member. The SCD has the Wagner one listed and a possible date of 1946. I think we have discussed it on the board before. I don't know anything about the Ehmke one other than what is on it. There aren't too many sets from 1935 (besides the normal ones)....and this is a schedule so I don't consider it from a set....but it's cool imo too..

Dustan,

Good work! I remember how excited I was when I got my first PSA 3 Red Portrait Cobb!

Thanks James. I'm working on adding a Walter Johnson PSA 3 Portrait right now. After that, it'll be a short while before I buy any more. It's been pretty fun turning a box of modern stuff that no longer interests me into the Cobb.

Phil, Great Gibson pic. What year?

Just opened, another pr-fr. Appears that a prior owner colorized the infield and his stockings.

Thanks to Barry S. for these little beauties. First Cycle and American Beauty backed T206s I have acquired. Love 'em!

Mailman also brought a nice Dahlen/Wheat "Wheat Strikes Out" T202 plus Mastro's live auction catalogue. Oy!! Say what you will about Mastro and their alteration policy and their florid prose and their packing tape but they sure do make pretty catalogs.

(Edited to get images to fit better on screen/hope it worked)

David,

Nice Lajoie! He's one of the next 2 I want to pick up, in a PSA 4. Cycle back will probably be a bit out of my price range, but if I can find a 4 that looks at least as nice as yours I will be very happy.

....... But, until now, this W521 (reverse image of Leonard's 1921 Exhibit) was uncataloged, not even in Adam W.'s great book.

Dave, nice Broadleaf. I bought it a few years back from a board member and sold it to another board member a while back. Looks like it's made it back to Net54 hands!
