Default Robert Morris Show---May 16-18

This will be my first show on the Robert Morris Campus. I have been told by both collectors and dealers I respect that it is a very good place to find vintage material. For all I hope it will be a great show. I will give a 10% discount to any collector who mentions this post. See you in Pittsburgh (Moon Township).

The RMU show is just about the only show I make it to and I will agree that it is a great show for vintage.

I am pretty excited this year, I'll be taking my 6-1/2 year old daughter with me on Friday for the first time.

Default Robert Morris Showw

I have been going to the show for several years, and its been going down hill each year. Its an average show, but for Pittsburgh its better than nothing. My reason is it has lost a lot of big time vendors! Go Pens!!! Enjoy golfing!!!

I am looking forward to it. I have my wish list made out at the prices that I am ready to pay, cash in hand, and ready to hit the tables Friday night!

I will be going to the show and will be in line when it opens. I just wish the show would go back to two times a year. Once is not enough for this junkie.

Used to be twice a year. Now they only have one. Still a great show. Tons of stuff.

Great show for me as I was able to score my '61 topps set. I had a chance to visit with Larrie Dean and he had quite a set up of some great stuff. My only disappointment was that it was probably 95% raw and I was looking for a slabbed PSA 6 Symbol of Courage Campy card. When you add to the fact that Bob Friend was the free signing, it was fantastic all the way around.

Tom Boblitt, my son and I just got back from Pittsburg a few hours ago. We live in Louisville and try to make the trip each year we can. Tom and I started going to this show over 15 years ago and it was one of the highlights of the year. Although there is not as much vintage as there used to be, it is great to see familiar faces like Rand Bailey and his wife, JD Heckathorn, Wayne Johnson, Chris and Kristen Buckler, Kevin Savage and Pat Blandford. I really do enjoy seeing these and other faces that make the show enjoyable. Besides that, I got a few equipment catalogs, some gem B18's that Rand had picked up and a very nice Detroit Tigers Our Home Team Postcard. Great Time!!!!

Nice show, looked to have some different dealers this year also seemed a bit larger. I also miss the twice a year routine, I think the second round was held in October.

I asked one of the two brothers running the show and he indicated the idea of a twice a year show was under consideration.
