Hard to tell from the pic provided, but I don't like it. Just my opinion. I admit to being a bit distracted by the hair.

It looks fake to me as well. I mentioned it looked fake on Facebook (it was a card collectors group), and I got attacked. It was very odd. It was like these guys get offended if you point out that a card looks like a fake.

LMFAO!!! They kicked me out of the group! The ironic thing, is this is their opening statement...

This group is for people who share the common interest of baseball card collecting. I don't really care if we stray off topic. Lets just keep it civil and avoid ripping people off is all I ever ask.

I point out that someone got ripped off.....and I get kicked out! ROTFLMAO!!!

Yeah, I got one more and I'm not being sarcastic. The whole scan presentation just reeks! The hair, the fact that the card is about to slip out the side -- I mean, can he not screw down a screwdown properly? If I owned that card and knew it to be genuine (and I can be lazy at times) I would never ever treat and present it like that publicly. The only ironic redeeming factor is he has it in a penny sleeve, as if he somehow cares. You could almost believe the card is real because who in their right mind would do all this? Perverse reverse psychology?

No...someone not knowing a real card from a fake card. Too many people in our hobby blindly buy a valuable card without doing their homework. You HAVE to know what a fake looks like! You HAVE to know what to look for, and realize, that yes, there are lots of fakes out there, sometimes even in legitimate slabs (just look at the most recent Clemente rookie PSA 9 for Petes sake!). Our hobby is filled with an over abundance of con men and thieves who can't wait to rip someone off. The best prevention in that is education. Whoever owned that Gehrig, obviously can't tell a real from a fake, and they are going to pay PSA $35 to find out the obvious.

Way too grainy to be real..

Bobby- probably a group of collectors that needs some education. If they send in enough of those types of cards they will get one, albeit a bit pricey.
