Did you check the lithographs for the proper dotted pattern with a 10x loup? Those are some really nice items if real.

It's where a lot of this type of stuff tends to originate from, and has for several decades now.

I think the theory may have been posited that there's lots of old defunct printing and lithography equipment, and access to old stock paper/board in the area, that tends to make it a hotbed for this type of fantasy material.

Of all the options, IMO, the Babe Ruth Herald might be the only one legitimate. But paired up with the others, which I'm skeptical about, it makes me think otherwise. I don't like the aging along the edges of the pieces. It looks artificial/aged. However, I'm no expert in printing and dot matrix, etc, to understand the nuances of eras and authenticity.

I agree. Everything appears to be fake, except I would not want to rule out the Ruth item unless I saw better photos or unless I could see it in person.

There was also Tattoo Flash coming out of Ohio that were drawn/painted on original stock and with original inks awhile back. Problem was, the artists forging them sucked. The aging looks awfully familiar to those pieces(I have one in my collection that I got cheap, but because it was still cool). For all of these to be in one place is a red flag for me. Amazing pieces from separate eras of ball...... This is either a major collector who knows what they have and knows their value, or a fraudster. Are any authenticated?

The Old Judge and Dogs Head piece is most concerning to me. That aging looks very manufactured.

There is always a chance the sellers don't know. Most, if not all, of these are not even good fakes. And the oldest trick in the book is to throw in one or two good things with lots of fakes to make it seem they are all real.
Just things to be cognizant of. Scamming 101B....not even to 102 yet .

But no idea if this seller is or isn't in on it. I try to give folks the benefit of the doubt unless there are obvious red flags (more than just selling a fake, possibly unknowingly)
