I know that feeling very well. I am also on a watch forum and the pickup section makes me drool regularly.

Watch people make card people seem normal.

Beautiful watch, I've had the itch for quite a while to get one, would have to used though.

OH NO. Taking it to the dark side. Was talking to someone about this the last 2 days. Do you own or would you buy a counterfeit/replica watch?

I am in the camp they are like reprint cards. As long as you treat it like what it really is I am all in for both. Now if you try to say either are real then I have a problem with that.

Anyway I have been looking at getting a 2 tone Rolex for some time. The prices have basically doubled in the last 3 years. So I figured maybe a Tudor instead. I own a Rolex so I know how they feel. I have never owned a Tudor. So instead of paying several thousand for one I found a replica for a couple hundred. It is the same exact size/weight so I figured it would let me see if I like the watch before I threw decent money at one.

Actually glad I did it because I love how it looks but I just don't like wearing it. On a funny note the second hand fell off while I was mowing with it on. Should be an easy fix if I ever decide to fix it.

I bought a replica omega Seamaster bond, from the last movie, to gauge size and feel. Way too big for me to shell out the cash for the original. I wear it like a beater and it looks amazing for 150 dollars.
